Our Team
Welcome to the Octilient Team. We are a group of professionals united by our passion for excellence and human flourishing. What sets us apart is our ability to imagine the world as it could be, while keeping the practical realities of the present in focus. At Octilient we see a future with flourishing communities across our land. To do our part to make that a reality, a percentage of our earnings will be invested in Restorative, a soon to be established NPO, that will focus on restoring hope and growing resilience in South African public schools.
Meet Our Team

Jennie McGarvie
Executive Consultant
Jennie is a strategic thinker with a passion for solving commercial and social conundrums. She completed a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Computer Science and an M.Phil. in Value and Policy Studies before beginning a career in management consulting.
Over two decades in consulting across the corporate and community development sectors Jennie became convinced that the foundational solutions to many of the problems that individuals and organisations face today lie in the power of the human mind to exert its free will over the brain. This was her inspiration to establish Octilient in 2024.

Tinneke du Plessis
Senior Consultant
Tinneke is a seasoned executive having spent a decade and a half in CFO and COO roles. She is passionate about seeing organisations and individuals operate effectively to achieve excellence and fulfil their purpose.
Throughout her career, Tinneke has bridged seemingly incongruent worlds. She majored in Accounting and Psychology, completed an MBA Research Project on “Generating value through the involvement of business in the NPO sector" and has consistently worked across the corporate and nonprofit sectors. These unusual combinations of learning and experience enable her to empathise with people from all walks of life and provide unique insights into complex contexts.

Megan Evertse
Consultant
Megan is passionate about improving workplaces to enable optimal human performance. Her studies, a BA and Honours in Industrial Psychology, the arrival of her triplets, and her 25 year long career in Human Resources have provided the perfect context to expand her understanding of human development. The addition of neuro-informed leadership techniques to her toolkit makes her a force to be reckoned with in the People Transformation space.
